We spontaneously ordered something to take away while hiking and picked it up on the way back. Fantastic cuisine! Wonderfully hearty dishes and the red cabbage was a revelation :) The prices are also very good and it was very warm and friendly. Absolute recommendation!

Christmas Day '20. 1x leg of goose and 2x schnitzel "take away": It was extremely tasty. Even the kidies, who are usually poor, enjoyed everything. (Plates are empty.) Was very good food, otherwise I'm not used to it. The ladies at the "bar" were also in a cool mood, they didn't let this difficult time show. I like to come to you to eat and linger. Hold on! S. Goose to go We pre-ordered nice, delicious goose legs with red cabbage and dumplings and it was just fantastic. I can recommend it to everybody! Thanks again and keep up the good work!

The food was great. The waitresses were exceptionally friendly. The ice cream was excellent. We would love to come back.

Nice service, average coffee, average cake. The price / performance ratio is unfortunately not right for coffee and cake. I think plum cake about 10x5cm 3.20 € is already steep, especially since it is a beer garden. And so far I haven't paid € 3.50 for a pot of coffee.

Unfortunately the service of all guests took an extremely long time. Some guests therefore left early. We were on the verge of doing this too. There is certainly a plausible reason for this, but then you should explain this to the guests and point out beforehand that it will take longer! So unfortunately only 2 stars. The food was tasty and hot too. The menu is manageable, but with a good offer where everyone can find something for themselves. A good price-performance offer. Great location below the castle.

As South German (Saxon) cuisine as it can get. Friendly staff, nice food if you like South German cuisine and at affordeble prices ,this is the place. If you have not tryed out (Saxon) South German cuisine, I would recommend this place, if you journey past nearby.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Fast but very good cuisine with good portions and reasonable prices. Anyone visiting Weesenstein Castle can definitely eat well here.

Below the Weesenstein Castle, the restaurant offers a rustic but cozy atmosphere. The service was friendly (Corona requirements were implemented) and the service was quick. The food (schnitzel with asparagus and liver) was really delicious. The price / performance ratio was good

I would like him to be good to very good after a conversation with the boss. Unfortunately we could only talk in front of the café. Guess why ?! Definitely come back "in normal condition"!

Sunny day, long in the castle. Superb food, elegant presented, friendly athmorphere. We visited twice. Worth all the money.

As impressive as the castle is the restaurant. Friendly service, freshly prepared food, attractive price and very short wait. Conclusion lunch and coffee were excellent.

Quaint restaurant in front of the castle Wesenstein. The service extremely friendly and always courteous although the guests were quite numerous. The food was delicious! The schnitzel came out of the pan with a light butter note - perfect.

I don't know if it was Monday and I was almost alone (2 other guests) in the beer garden, but I only saw a waitress after 20 minutes. Another 5 minutes later I was finally able to order. The shandy was good and so was cake. Normal baker quality in a positive sense. Then again waited at least 15 minutes to be able to express my payment request. I will go back soon. If I just had bad luck today I will of course change this recession.
